EURIMASHINE presents the W+D 627 completely rebuilt and upgraded our state-of-the art machine runs up to 1600 envelopes per minute. The W+D 627 is a combination of speed and productivity.
The rebuilt and upgraded W + D 627 Envelope Machine is fully ready to support envelope manufacturers who want higher productivity. This machine is, perhaps, the fastest machine in the world in terms of envelope production speed and thus probably the most cost-effective solution that combines productivity and profitability.

Electrical and electronic package

Besides rewiring the machine including a new motor and drive, we have added two new touch screens that centrally control all the function of the machine, such as:


  • – heat intensity of the infrared lamps
  • – real-time location of paper jams counter
  • – counter and batching operations
  • – access to maintenance in production history


For new electrical boxes attached to the main sections of the machine allow a fast and easy installation.
A new set of servo motors continuosly adjust the tension on the web and offer the option to install a registration unit in order to manufacture envelopes from pre-printed roll.

 

Timing Belt Upgrades

The new belt transmission system coupled with harmonic drives allows on the run easy 360 degree adjustment of the score, bottom fold, staggering and seal flap folding sections.

High Speed Patcher

Net high speed window catcher increases production speed up to 1200 envelopes per minute.

Infrared Lamps

The infrared drying technology reduces energy consumption by 60 to 80 percent.

Silicon Release Liner Applicator with Hot Melt Glue

Our newly designed silicon release applicator with hot melt positioned on the delivery section reduces downtime in case of a paper jam. In addition, it saves up to 50% on release liner and glue without lowering the speed of the machine.

Extremly maintenance-friendly construction are the result of the deletion of the longitudinal shaft and the conventional gear boxes. Lubrication and maintenance-free suction rollers have been incorporated. The machine will be easier to service, and the anticipated maintenance costs should be less for this new machine.

Fastest automatic start-up after a machine stoppage by means of twotype cull gates located after the staggering section and after the drying run.

Absolutely disturbance-free paper transport through the cross scoring section. The scoring roller acts as a suction cylinder and in this way the central groove in the cross scoring is eliminated. For the manufacture of envelopes with inner side flaps and optionally outer side flaps. Hot-melt section form application of adhesive strips.

Cutting tower:

  • – With optical web edge detection system
  • – Is adjustable laterally during machine operation
  • – Servo-driven pulling, segment and cutting rollers i.e. no change gears for the pulling rollers; all format positions are adjusted fully automatically (format data can be stored).
  • – Use of exchangeable cutting bridges which can be pre-equipped and adjusted outside of the machine
  • – Faster exchange of the cutting bridges with the assistance of a lifting trolley (Option)
